A chart-topping singer gave a rave review to a “beautiful” Warwickshire hotel after her overnight stay.

X Factor star Fleur East was treated to a luxurious stop at Coombe Abbey Hotel and was extremely impressed.

The ‘Sax’ singer took to Twitter where she posted photos and said: “Stayed in the most beautiful hotel last night! Coombe Abbey Hotel in Coventry.”

As well as giving the positive endorsement on Twitter, Fleur also posted a photo of herself at the Brinklow-based venue on Instagram. She also said that she will definitely be back to stay at the 12th century venue once again.

The performer called Coombe Abbey her home for the night after wowing the crowds in Coventry city centre for its Christmas lights switch-on. Ron Terry, general manager at Coombe Abbey Hotel, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to have Fleur as a guest for the evening and we are thrilled that she had such a pleasant stay.

“It was fantastic that she took the time to go on to her social media sites and give a mention to Coombe Abbey.

“We of course responded with a thank you and then told Fleur that she is welcome back at any time.

“It is always lovely to get a positive review as we always strive for perfection and giving the best experience possible to all of our guests, whoever they may be.”

Coombe Abbey is now gearing up for a busy festive season, as it will be serving up a fun-filled and varied programme of events for the season of goodwill.

There is something to cater for all tastes including Mediaeval banquets, party nights, murder mystery evenings, festive lunches, afternoon teas, Princess tea parties, a New Year’s Eve extravaganza and even Sunday lunch with Santa.

For the third year running, the hotel is also partnering with Free Radio with their Party nights in the Marquee being hosted by Free Radio Breakfast presenter, JD from The JD and Roisin Show.
