A Christmas cracker of a festive season is on the menu at a historic Warwickshire hotel after a record-breaking year.

Coombe Abbey is gearing up for the season of goodwill once again and is aiming to make it one to remember for all guests.

In 2015 the Brinklow-based 12th century venue served 8,276 covers on its public events and 899 on private events bringing together a massive total of 9,175.

And this Yuletide is already on course to be another huge success with some dates and events in the coming weeks already at capacity.

With that in mind, those thinking about celebrating the festive season at the hotel are being urged to reserve their places soon or miss out on some truly spectacular seasonal events.

For 2016, the hotel will be serving up a fun-filled and varied programme of events for the season of goodwill.

There is something to cater for all tastes including Mediaeval banquets, party nights,  murder mystery evenings, festive lunches, afternoon teas, Princess tea parties, a New Year’s Eve extravaganza and even Sunday lunch with Santa.

For the third year running, the hotel is also partnering with Free Radio with their Party nights in the Marquee being hosted by Free Radio Breakfast presenter, JD from The JD and Roisin Show.

Ron Terry, general manager from Coombe Abbey, said “The party nights are always a big hit and we are so pleased to be partnering up with Free Radio and JD once again.

“Christmas is a wonderful time and Coombe Abbey always strives to make it special for everyone.

“Last year was absolutely fantastic and even though we were incredibly busy, we made sure that the quality and service was excellent, and our guests had a great experience.

“We have already seen a high volume of enquiries and bookings for all of the upcoming Christmas events and we are so pleased with their popularity – with some already completely full.

“Please do contact us though, as there are still some dates and events available to make sure that it is a merry Christmas for all, but be sure to book sooner rather than later.”

“There is something for everyone – whether it is a night out with colleagues, dinner with the family or a Christmas treat for the little ones, Coombe Abbey has Christmas all wrapped up for 2016.”
