The transformation of the Alan Berry Building in University Square is now complete.

The building, which is home to Business Development and the Vice Chancellor’s Office at Coventry University, was constructed in 1963 and occupies a prominent position opposite Coventry Cathedral.

Work to transform the building was carried out by Deeley Construction and took four months to complete.

The new design has received a lukewarm response from local residents. Contributors to the architecture forum skyscrapercity.com have described the new look as “truly horrific”, a “complete joke” and a “turd polishing exercise”.
